Haywood Hospital

The works to the Haywood Hospital were to construct a new main entrance canopy following the accidental demolition of the existing canopy. The new canopy has been redesigned to prevent any overhang onto the roadway to reduce the risk of accidental damage in the future.

The construction of the new canopy required excavation and construction of new foundations, erection of steel structure complete with weatherproof roof and installation of both general and aesthetic lighting. Damage to existing glazed wall and rainwater pipework was also repaired during the course of the project.
